2006 Season Summary.
The season progressed very nicely with only a few minor issues. Even with the last minute change of league secretary, the results were reported promptly each week. The season progressed without major incident, and despite running through the World Cup, most clubs managed to find full teams. Baildon and Skipton went down to the wire in division A, breaking Shipley’s monopoly of the last three seasons. Division B was even closer! Before the final game of the season only four points separated first to last place. In the end West Bradford and Howley Hall both won all their games to finish on top of the division. Clayton and Riddlesden dominated division C. With the withdrawal of Phoenix Park, division D’s fixture list was slightly curtailed, but West Bowling and Bradford Moor managed to gain promotion.
