2007 Season Summary.
The season will probably be remembered for the number of fixtures postponed due to the course closures. The weather throughout the season was wet to say the least. Most clubs managed to rearrange fixtures without any problems, others managed to leave them until the last minute. The top of division A comprised three teams all with the same number of points. Howley Hall and Baildon had a better number of games won than Skipton. Riddlesden and Clayton battled it out through the season with Riddlesden managing to get ahead in the last week of the season. Ben Rhydding and Branshaw were promoted from division C with a few points to spare over the third place team. It wasn’t quite so clear cut in division D, Northcliffe topped the table by one point but second place had to be decided by a count back of all points scored in every league game. East Bierley managed to pip Calverley to the runners-up position in the end.
