Congratulations to Keighley Golf Club on winning the 2016 team championship held at Keighley Golf Club with a score of 214. Skipton were five shots back on 219 and pipped Fulneck on a team back nine count back. Mr J Dickinson of Branshaw Golf Club was awarded the Champion Rabbit prize, again after a back nine count back from Mt Dunn of Keighley. Results are available here

2016 18 Hole Team Championship
Congratulations to Halifax golf club on winning the 18 hole team championship held at Branshaw Golf Club, their winning score of 207 was three clear of runners-up Branshaw.

Division A – Result Re-Calculation
West Bradford have fielded an ineligible player for five matches this season. The four victories have been changed to losses and therefore Division A tables and some of the League Matchplay Champion positions have been amended to take these new results into account.
2016 9 Hole Champions
Congratulations to Bradford Moor on winning the nine hole course championship held at Ben Rhydding Golf Club. Runner-up were Rawdon Golf Club some twelve shots behind. Full results available here.
2016 Presidents Cup
Congratulations to Bradford Moor on winning the Presidents cup held at West Bradford Golf Club. Runners-Up, Cleckheaton Golf Club, were just a point behind. Full results available here.
2016 Rabbits League
The 2016 league season kicked off this evening despite the weather, only one match was badly affected, that of Branshaw v West Bradford. The course was under a covering of snow as the players were well into the back nine. Well done to all captains for reporting the results and well done to those players that took part, you are a hardy breed.
Riddlesden golf club
Sad news for golfers of Bradford, the secretary of the BDRGA has been reliably informed that Riddlesden golf club will be placed into liquidation from February 2016. The BDRGA committee have yet to meet but the consensus from the President and secretaries is that championships draws will remain as they are with the Riddlesden spots being left empty. Clubs due to play Riddlesden in the Chippendale trophy will get an automativ bye. Finally, clubs due to play Riddlesden in Division B of the BDRGA league will now get an extra two weeks off during the season.
