Congratulations to The Manor on winning Division A, South Bradford for winning Division B, Keighley for winning Division C and Bradford Moor for winning Division D. Congratulations also to Baildon, Skipton and Silsden for gaining promotion from their respective divisions.
The match being played at Bracken Ghyll was abandoned due to tonight’s thunder and lightning. No division C results will be published until ALL results are available. The teams have until Thursday 2nd August to complete their match.
Out of respect to their steward, Richard Halmshaw, whose funeral was today, South Bradford and Clayton are to play their league fixture on Friday 1st June.
The game at Branshaw in Division A had to be abandoned due to waterlogged greens this evening. The game will need to be re-played before Thursday 15th June.
Unfortunately the league secretary much have been half asleep on Thursday and managed to get the West Bradford v Cleckheaton result almost completely wrong. The results and tables are now re-calculated, apologies for any confusion.

West Bradford have fielded an ineligible player for five matches this season. The four victories have been changed to losses and therefore Division A tables and some of the League Matchplay Champion positions have been amended to take these new results into account.
The 2016 league season kicked off this evening despite the weather, only one match was badly affected, that of Branshaw v West Bradford. The course was under a covering of snow as the players were well into the back nine. Well done to all captains for reporting the results and well done to those players that took part, you are a hardy breed.
